Nassau SPCA Increases Reward For Info On Dead Dogs Found In Sump
Authorities are now offering $6,000 for info leading to the arrest of the person who dumped the seven dead dogs, including one puppy.

The Nassau County SPCA has increased the reward it is offering for information leading to the arrest of the person who dumped the bodies of seven dogs in a sum pin Hempstead earlier this month.
The NCSPCA said that, thanks to a donation, the reward for information about the crime has increased to $6,000.
The bodies of the dogs, each one placed inside black garbage bags, were found on Wednesday, Sept. 12in a sump on South Franklin Street in Hempstead. The Nassau County SPCA says the bodies were all pit bulls, and included four female dogs, two males and a 3-month-old puppy.

The SPCA, which investigates animal-related crimes in the county, said it is offering the reward because it feels that someone knows who threw the corpses into the sump.
