Nassau Traffic Stop Secures Drugs, Cash: Police
Police say they pulled over a suspicious car and found one of the occupants had cocaine and heroin on him.

Nassau police pulled over a car in Hempstead Sunday night, which led to them securing drugs and cash after a fight with the passenger.
According to police, officers stopped a suspicious vehicle on Hilton Avenue around 9:30 p.m. While investigating the car, police say they found the passenger, Julius Eatman, 51, had cocaine and heroin on him, as well as a large amount of cash.
When police attempted to arrest Eatman, he fought with them, causing one officer to injure his hand. Eatman was eventually placed under arrest, and both he and the officer were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Eatman, who is homeless, is charged with second-degree assault, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a parole violation. He will be arraigned when medically practical.
