Overdose Investigation Nets Three Drug Arrests: Nassau Police
Police say all three people had heroin on them when they were arrested, following an investigation into two overdoses.

Nassau police arrested three people in Hempstead on Sunday after they said an investigation into an overdose led them to potential drug dealers.
According to police, Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives were investigating a fatal drug overdose in Elmont and a non-fatal overdose in Franklin Square. The investigation led to the arrest of George Williams, 39, of Park Avenue, Roosevelt. Police say that Williams was in possession of heroin when he was arrested, and had agreed to sell someone heroin before his arrest.
Police also arrested Stephanie Snavely, 30, of Cornwall Lane, Hempstead. Police say Snavely possessed glassine envelopes containing heroin. The investigation also led to the arrest of Kenneth Robinson, 53, of Collier Avenue, Far Rockaway. Police say Robinson was in possession of heroin when he was arrested.

Williams is charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and violation of parole. Snavely is charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Robinson is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. All three were arraigned on Monday in First District Court in Hempstead.
