Police ID Man Stabbed To Death On Nassau Street
The 49-year-old man was killed after getting into an argument with another man. Police are still asking anyone with info to come forward.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — Nassau County police have identified the man who was stabbed to death on a Hempstead street in late June, and are still asking for the public's help to find his killer.
According to police, 49-year-old Andre Garry, of West Hempstead, was walking on Fulton Avenue near the coroner of Terrace Avenue around 9 p.m. on June 28 when he got into an argument with an unknown man. Their fight escalated, and police say the unknown man stabbed Garry and then fled.
Garry was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his wounds.

Police ask anyone with information about this murder to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244 TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
