Police ID Teen Gunned Down In Hempstead
Police say the 17-year-old was found with multiple gunshot wounds Monday night.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — Nassau County police have identified the 17-year-old who was gunned down in Hempstead Monday night.
Police have identified the victim as Omarion Jackson, 17, of Hempstead. According to police, Hempstead Police officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in front of a home on Dartmouth Street at 9:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his wounds.
