Police Searching for Man in Attempted Chase Bank Robbery
Man held up Covert Avenue bank Saturday morning, cops said.

Nassau County Police are searching for a man they say held up a Stewart Avenue bank Saturday morning.
At 11:51 a.m., an unidentified man approached a teller at Chase Bank on Covert Avenue and demanded money. The teller did not respond and the man fled the bank without any money, cops said.
No one was reportedly injured. Four employees and one customer were inside the bank at the time.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
