Remembering The Fallen: Honoring Garden City's 9/11 Victims
Twenty local residents were among the nearly 3,000 people killed.

It's hard to believe it's been 17 years since the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Everyone remembers where they were that day and what they were doing when they heard the news.
But as time marches on, the memories sometimes begin to fade. Children learn about that day in school having not lived it, but only heard about it. That's why now, more than ever, it's important to remember all of the people who died on that day.
Nearly 3,000 people died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks 17 years ago. Among those killed were twenty Garden City residents.
