Second Man Arrested In Nassau County Murder: Police
Police say he helped shoot two people in Hempstead earlier this week, one of whom later died form his injuries.

Nassau County police have arrested a second man they say was involved in the murder of a Hempstead man earlier this week.
According to police, two men were shot in front of 100 Terrace Ave. just after 2:45 a.m. Monday. One of the men, Matthew Gilreath, 28, of Hempstead, died from his injuries on Tuesday.
On Thursday, police arrested Raphael Carter, 31, of Hempstead. He is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree hindering prosecution. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead today.

Police also arrested James Wilson, 35, of Gold Street, Brooklyn in connection to the crime. He was charged with second-degree murder.
