Serial Bank Robber Arrested: Police
Police say he robbed six different banks over the last year, and tried to rob three more.

Nassau police arrested a homeless man on Friday and charged him with six bank robberies that happened over the last year.
According to police, Junior Ghirawoo, 33, entered Chase Bank, located at 654 Franklin Ave. in Franklin Square, at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Police say he approached the teller and handed them a demand note. The teller managed to call over the bank security guard, who detained Ghirawoo until police arrived.
Police say that, after an investigation, they determined that Ghirawoo was also responsible for other bank robberies:

Detectives request anyone with information regarding these crimes to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
Ghirawoo is charged with six counts of third-degree robbery and three counts of attempted third-degree robbery. He was arraigned on Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
