Two Powerball Tickets Worth $1 Million Sold on Long Island

One in Suffolk and one in Nassau. A single jackpot winning ticket worth $429.6 million was sold in New Jersey.

A couple Long Islanders were just one number away from claiming a share of a $429.6 million Powerball jackpot on Saturday.

The sole jackpot winning ticket for the ninth largest lotto jackpot in U.S. history was sold in New Jersey.

There were seven second prize winning tickets worth $1 million for Saturday's multi-state Powerball drawing, including two sold on Long Island; one at the 7-Eleven located at 85 Merritts Road in Farmingdale and the other at Ebony Cards & Gifts located at 2107 Dutch Broadway in Elmont.

The winning numbers were: 5, 25, 26 44, 66 and Powerball No. 9.
