Upcoming Benefit Yard Sale

The Tanners Pond Environmental Center is sponsoring the fifth annual outdoor Benefit Yard Sale on Saturday, April 27th from 9 am - 3 pm. (Rain date is Saturday, May 4th.) Great items can be found. “As in past years, we have many unusual pieces which will appeal to everyone. They include collectibles, antiques, sporting goods, housewares, china, garden tools, clothing, books and much more. Please join us and help support the Tanners Pond Environmental Center!” said Liz Bailey, sale coordinator. Do you hate the idea of having your own garage sale with the hassle of putting up posters all over town, advertising and people tromping on your lawn? This year, ten by ten-foot spaces may be reserved for $35, providing sellers with an opportunity to sell their own garage sale items. Fees are tax deductible. If you wish to reserve a space, contact Liz Bailey at emb158@aol.com or 248 8447 or Annette Seltzer at toniann48@yahoo.com. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Proceeds from space rentals go to the Tanners Pond Environmental Center/Garden City Bird Sanctuary, a 501 (3) C non-profit organization for educational programs & improvements to the site. Tanners Pond Environmental Center is located opposite 181 Tanners Pond Rd. For more information about the Tanners Pond Environmental Center/ Garden City Bird Sanctuary, please visit www.GCBirdSanctuary.org, join them on Facebook (Garden City Bird Sanctuary).
