What's Opened, Closed In Garden City On Labor Day?
Here's a look at what's going to be available on Monday, Sept. 2.
Labor Day is here, which means it's the last three-day weekend to get in at the beach before summer ends.
Here's what's opened and what's closed on Monday, Sept. 2 in Garden City.
All village offices are closed. There also won't be any sanitation pickup on Monday. Instead, garbage collection will be done on Tuesday and Friday for the Western Half and Wednesday and Saturday for the Eastern Half. Rubbish will be collected for the entire village on Thursday. Recycling collection will not change.

Here is some additional information on what is open and closed on Labor Day:
- Banks - All banks are closed on Labor Day.
- Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner's discretion.
- Liquor Stores - Open at owner's discretion.
