Woman Stole Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Clothes: Police

Nassau County police are searching for a woman who stole thousands of dollars worth of clothes from Bloomingdale's in East Garden City earlier this month.

According to police, the woman in the video above entered the Bloomingdale's in the Roosevelt Field Mall on Tuesday, July 17 at 8:30 p.m. In the men's section, she stuffed various Lacoste clothes into a Macy's shopping bag, then left the store.

Police say she stole more than $2,500 of merchandise. The woman is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall with an average build, wearing black and white sneakers and a black dress.

Police ask anyone with information about the crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1 – 800 – 244 TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could earn a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
