The county reports 74 establishments countywide operating acceptably, and reminds residents they can report any future food safety concerns directly to the health department by phone or online form. 
• Runner hit by Syracuse firefighter is finally home after coma, monthslong hospital stay (syracuse.com) — A Geddes woman who was badly injured when a Syracuse firefighter’s truck struck and ran over her during a July jog is finally home after months in the hospital. Prosecutors say a grand jury will soon review possible charges, while questions remain about the firefighter’s residency in Geddes and his status with the Solvay Fire Department, which contracts with the town.
