He has missed council meetings since his January arrest but continues to receive his city salary, while the mayor has repeatedly urged him to resign or resume his duties.
   

4. Geneva Teen Charged With Felony Assault After Hopewell Crash (fingerlakesdailynews.com) — An 18-year-old Geneva woman faces a felony second-degree assault charge after deputies say she caused a high-speed crash on Routes 5 and 20 in Hopewell that left another driver with serious internal injuries. Investigators allege she was traveling about 98 mph while passing several vehicles before losing control and striking two cars; she's due in Hopewell Town Court.
   

5. HWS begins Williams Hall renovation for Melly Institute (fingerlakes1.com) — Hobart and William Smith Colleges is renovating the first floor of Williams Hall in Geneva to create a new home for the Melly Institute for Business, Innovation and Leadership. The project, running through this academic year, will add Bloomberg Terminal labs, flexible classrooms, and interview spaces, slightly shifting pedestrian routes on campus near Pulteney Street.
