500 Bags of Heroin Recovered During Glen Cove Traffic Stop: Police
Three Queens men were arrested Tuesday for selling heroin in the North Shore area, police say.
Three Queens men were arrested Tuesday after authorities recovered more than 500 bags of heroin and several Ziplock bags of crack cocaine during a Glen Cove traffic stop, police say.
Glen Cove detectives became aware that Jairo Bisono, 28, Brian Chattoo, 28, and Jeffrey Ventura, 29, were allegedly selling heroin in Queens, Glen Cove and the North Shore area through an investigation that began this summer.
All three men were arrested during a car stop where police recovered 544 glassine bags of heroin as well as 18 Ziplock bags of crack cocaine from a hidden compartment inside the 2004 Nissan, police say.

The investigation also recovered an additional 230 bags of heroin that the three men sold in the North Shore area, police say.
Bisono, Chattoo and Ventura were charged with second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, multiple counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree conspiracy and fourth-degree conspiracy. They will be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

The investigation was a collaboration between Glen Cove Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Nassau County's District Attorney's Office.
