Adoption Special at North Shore Animal League Wants Teachers to Find A Pet
Cats and dogs of all ages and breeds are looking to become a teacher's pet this weekend.
Do you know a teacher who’s looking for a four-legged, furry friend? This weekend is a good time to shop for a teacher’s pet.
To show appreciation for all teachers and the work they do, North Shore Animal League America, 25 Davis Ave. in Port Washington, is giving teachers a special deal.
All teachers who adopt a pet will get $30 off on Saturday and Sunday.

Teachers will get to choose from hundreds of adoptable cats, dogs, puppies and kittens available from rescues across the country.

- Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Remember to bring a valid teacher ID.
