• Man Arrested After Driving While Intoxicated With 2 Kids, Ages 2 And 4, In Car In Glen Cove: Police (patch.com) — Glen Cove residents are learning more about an early-morning DWI arrest on Glen Cove Avenue, where police say a Hempstead man drove intoxicated with his 2- and 4-year-old children unrestrained in the backseat. Glen Cove police charged him under Leandra’s Law, along with child endangerment and traffic violations, and scheduled him for arraignment in District Court.
