AP Honors for Glen Cove Students

Students were recognized for their outstanding achievement on Advanced Placement exams.

Glen Cove High School students have been recognized by the College Board as Advanced Placement Scholars due to their outstanding success on Advanced Placement exams.

Students took AP exams in May 2014 after completing college-level courses in a variety of subjects.

According to the College Board’s website, the AP Program offers willing and academically prepared students the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement or both for successful performance on the AP exams. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on these exams.

(Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams)
