Apply to Be a Glen Cove Auxiliary Police Officer

City of Glen Cove has announced they are seeking applicants interested in becoming auxiliary police officers.

The positions are part-time and are non-competitive. All applicants must have a valid New York State driver’s license. An exam is not required.

Glen Cove Auxiliary responsibilities:

• Direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic
• Maintain posts of duty
• Use a radio to report observations
• Patrol public parking garages
• Secure public beaches
