Police ID Man Found Stabbed to Death in Glen Cove
The man's body was discovered Friday morning, police say.
UPDATED Tuesday at 10:55 a.m.: Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Glen Cove man whose body was found outside the former location of a Glen Cove restaurant Friday morning.
According to authorities, Glen Cove officers received a call for a man with multiple stab wounds behind the former location of Chama Restaurant, located at 284 Glen St., at 7:28 a.m. The restaurant has been closed since May.
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Pedro Orellana, was pronounced dead at 7:33 a.m. by Glen Cove EMS.

The investigation is continuing.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this homicide to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
