Broadway on the Beach
Vocalist Lesley Pryde Haley assembles an all-star cast set to perform in Sea Cliff this Friday night

Sea Cliff Beach is hosting the first “Broadway on the Beach” concert this Friday, July 19 at 7:30 pm. Esteemed WFUV radio personality John Platt will introduce the concert, which includes solo and ensemble performances from Les Miserables, Mary Poppins, West Side Story, Waitress, Matilda, Dear Evan Hanson and more! Original songs currently in rehearsal for future Broadway shows will also be highlighted.
The concert was organized by vocalist and music teacher Lesley Pryde Haley, who has performed with English National Opera, European, American and Australian Opera, on and off Broadway and on London's West End. "We have a fabulous band community in Sea Cliff but I wanted to highlight a different genre and [raise awareness of] classic shows to present a fun, informative evening of Broadway," said Haley.
In addition to Haley, the cast includes Eden White, who performed at Lilith Fair and opened for Sarah McLachlan; Christopher Moll and Steven Dahlke, founders of Jazz Hands Music Theatre who have extensive performance experience in opera, theatre and symphony; Joe Stroppel from Village Light Opera; drummer Tom Kaelin, guitarist Michael Schwartz and pianist Jonathan Bly. Many of Haley’s vocal students will sing, as Haley believes in giving her students many performance opportunities.
