AOH &amp; LAOH to Dedicate Commemorative Plaque Honoring America’s 250th Anniversary GLEN COVE, NY — The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) and Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) will host a special commemorative plaque dedication ceremony in honor of America’s 250th Anniversary and the Irish-American contribution to freedom and independence. The ceremony and unveiling will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, immediately following the 11 AM Mass at Saint Patrick Church, located at 235 Glen Street in Glen Cove. The commemorative plaque recognizes the important role Irish Americans played throughout the nation’s history and celebrates the enduring connection between faith, heritage, patriotism, and community. Community members are invited to attend this meaningful public ceremony as the nation prepares to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence. All are welcome.
