City Of Glen Cove Parks & Rec. Releases Summer Schedule For 2020 Swim Lesson Program At Pryibil Beach

Tiny Tots: This class is designed to help students aged 4 through 5 feel comfortable in the water and learn to enjoy the water safely. Maximum of 4 per class.
Session A: Mondays/Wednesdays at 10:15AM to 10:45AM

Session B: Tuesdays/Thursdays at 10:15AM to 10:45AM
Beginners: A concentration on primary skills of floating without support and developing basic locomotion skills. For non-swimmers ages 5 and over. Maximum of 5 per class.
Session A: Mondays/Wednesdays at 10:45AM to 11:15AM
Session B: Tuesdays/Thursdays at 10:45AM to 11:15AM
Advanced Beginner: Students will be taught to coordinate the front and back crawl. The elementary backstroke and the fundamentals of treading water will be introduced. For ages 6 and over. Maximum of 5 per class.
Session A: Mondays/Wednesdays at 11:30AM to 12:00 PM
Session B: Tuesdays/Thursdays at 11:30AM to 12:00 PM
Intermediate: This level is to develop confidence in the strokes learned from previous levels. The breaststroke and sidestroke will be introduced. For ages 8 and over. Maximum of 5 per class.
Session A: Mondays/Wednesdays at 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM
Session B: Tuesdays/Thursdays at 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM

July 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th August 3rd and 5th
Tuesdays and Thursdays
July 21st, 23rd, 28th, 30th, August 4th and 6th
Program Information: Glen Cove residency is required. Guarantee of 6 lessons.
