The Glen Cove Police Department announces staggered road closings on Sunday, August 29th, to ensure public safety during the Nicholas Pedone Foundation’s 5K event. The staggered road closures will begin at 8:45 a.m. at the entrance to Glen Cove High School on Dosoris Lane and follow with the closing of Lattingtown Road, Old Tappan Road and Walnut Road (ending at Sugar Maple Lane). Each stretch of roadway should be closed for approximately 15-20 minutes, with all roads being fully reopened by 10:30 a.m.
