1. Residents are invited to attend the at at 4 p.m. It will take place in the lobby, and just outside the main entrance. For each person being honored or remembered, an individual light will illuminate on a 25-foot tree. North Shore High School students will sing popular holiday songs, and light refreshments will be served.

2. Bring your children 18 months to 3 years old to the Community Room at for “A Time for Kids” at 10:30 a.m. Join library staff and other local families for music and fun. Children also have the opportunity to make a special "Snowman" craft.

3. Glen Cove Weather Report: Expect some clouds in the morning, which will give way to mainly sunny skies for the afternoon, with a high of 51.
