Empty In Glen Cove: Former Ruby Tuesday
Village Square restaurant has been vacant for three years.
A Ruby Tuesday's franchise occupied 1 Village Square in Glen Cove's downtown for 10 years since it opened there in 1999. Since its closing in 2009 it has stood vacant and boarded up.
According to Glen Cove Mayor Ralph Suozzi, the closing came as the franchise's lease expired with the owner, Michael Puntillo Jr., who is also behind the redevelopment.
