Annual Tree of Lights Ceremony

Glen Cove Hospital Auxiliary to Hold Annual Tree of Lights Ceremony Dec. 9, To honor family or friends, to celebrate a birth, or to remember a loved one this holiday season, the annual Tree of Lights Ceremony at Glen Cove Hospital will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, December 9, in the lobby and outside the hospital’s main entrance, 101 St. Andrews Lane.

A light will shine on a 25-foot evergreen tree for each individual honored or remembered.  The tree will remain lit as a symbol of hope and love throughout the holiday season.  In addition, the names of all enrolled in the ceremony will be listed in the lobby of the hospital throughout the season.

Adding to the festivities, students of North Shore High School will sing popular holiday songs in the lobby.  Several of the students are also members of the hospital’s Junior Auxiliary.
