Congregation Tifereth Israel (CTI) in Glen Cove invites the community to join the CTI family on Saturday, April 7, the second night of Passover. The celebratory Seder will be led by Rabbi Irwin Huberman and Cantor Gustavo Gitlin. CTI’s community Seder is family-friendly. Children, especially, are invited to take part in this traditional ceremony which for thousands of years has recounted the story of the departure of the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt, serving to remind Jews and others of the precious gift of freedom.

The community Seder begins at 6 pm and includes a full dinner (vegetarian meals are available) with traditional Seder wine. Adults are $49 each (nonmembers, $55), children aged 7-18 are $18 (nonmembers, $20), children up to age 7 are free. Reservations may be made by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). For information or to reserve, please call CTI at (516) 676-5080.

CTI, the oldest continuing Jewish congregation on Long Island, has been providing Jewish programming and education to the Long Island community since 1897. The synagogue is located at 40 Hill Street in Glen Cove, at the intersection of Hill Street and Landing Road.
