The North Shore Community Chorus, under the direction of Stephen Goldstein, and the Island Chamber Symphony, directed by Jeremy Kempton, will present two of Mozart's most popular works: the profoundly moving “Requiem” and the beloved and lyrical "Elvira Madigan" Piano Concerto in C Major, at North Shore High School, on Saturday, April 28, at 8 p.m. Featured soloists in Mozart’s “Requiem” will be Alexis Pesente, Soprano, Brana Williams, Alto, Gregory Mercer, Tenor and Ron Meixsell, Bass. Timothy Carl will be the featured piano soloist in Mozart's Piano Concerto in C Major, known as the "Elvira Madigan" because the beautiful second movement theme was used in the film of the same name.
