In the spirit of giving back to their members, GMA Karate & Kickboxing sponsored two free seminars led by FlashOut Pro, a traveling team of martial arts trickers.
Glen Cove, New York, June 15, 2013 – GMA Karate & Kickboxing, located at 275 Glen St., was proud to host FlashOut Pro, a demonstration team of elite martial artists who combine both martial arts and gymnastics techniques through a variety of twists, flips, and kicks into a unique form of self-expression known as tricking. Students ages 4 through 14 first learned how to perform their martial arts skills at a performance level. Then they were treated to an exciting demonstration of synchronized martial arts acrobatics. “Our goal and mission is to inspire young martial artists and trickers to strive for the best in life. We get kids excited about martial arts training and we are committed to supporting the champions within the sport. I think we’re doing that one show at a time,” said Sensei Christopher Cusanelli, creator of the FlashOut Performance Team.
“Since half of the performance team consists of my former students, I am especially proud of how talented they have become. I hope this seminar helps to inspire my current students to dedicate themselves towards the goal of black belt excellence,” said Sensei Andrew Goldberg, branch manager of GMA Karate, who booked the seminar not only as a way to thank his members for their loyalty and support but to motivate and inspire them as well.
