Glen Cove Author Publishes Debut Novel

For every woman who has ever felt invisible, here's a grownup novel.

“CAN YOU SEE US NOW?” is the debut novel from Glen Cove resident Cheryl Benton, founder and publisher of the very popular web site, The Three Tomatoes “for women who aren’t kids.” Inspired by her own experiences and those of her successful, accomplished New York City friends, this grownup novel will resonate with any women over the age of 50 who has ever felt invisible and marginalized in our youth obsessed culture.

“CAN YOU SEE US NOW?” tells the story of three best friends who rebel against unsolicited AARP cards, hot flashes, bosses, becoming invisible, and the perceptions of what’s old. It is available on Amazon and other online booksellers.

“Congratulations to Cheryl on publishing her first book,” Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton said. “It is great to see a Glen Cove resident as a role model for success. This book is such an enjoyable read and addresses an issue so relevant to women over 50.”
