A Glen Cove native earned Skyline Conference Player of the Week honors for recent performances on the SUNY Old Westbury baseball team.
Tommy Ziegen, a sophomore on the SUNY Old Westbury baseball team, was recognized for the games played from March 23 to March 29.
Ziegen, a shortstop, batted .500 (9-for-18) with six runs scored, 12 BRI and tied a career-high with a pair of three-hit performances.

Ziegen is ranked among conference leaders in batting average, runs scored, RBI, home runs, triples, total bases and stolen bases, according to Old Westbury Athletics.
