Jayden M.A. is a sporty eight year old in the second grade with huge aspirations of becoming a professional soccer or football player when he grows up. A sportsman all around, he is on the soccer team playing the game he loves as well as baseball, basketball, football and dodgeball every chance he gets. At school he excels in math and enjoys reading. His favorite book series is My Mouth is a Volcano written by Julia Cook and illustrated by Carrie Hartman. In addition to his penchant for athletics, Jayden also has a flair for art and music. “I’m a really good artist and I like to draw dragons,” said Jayden who plays the drums in his school band. Jayden joined the Club less than a year ago and he is already proving to be an outstanding member. “The Club and seeing the group leaders make me happy.”

Larry T.S. is a stellar student who has received many recognitions for improvements at school. He is eleven years old, in the sixth grade and gravitates to creative arts including drawing, painting and writing. “I enjoy creative writing because I can use my imagination to write about anything,” said Larry who likes to learn about science, nature climate and the history of the Earth. He hopes to pursue a career in technology someday and maybe even invent something in the field of computers or robotics. Larry has been a member for four years and comes to the Club on a regular basis. His favorite memories are from his participation in the Summer program. “I made a lot of friends and went places I’ve never been before, like the Ducks baseball game, Q-Zar and bowling. I would never have done any of that if I didn’t come to the Club.”
