Being here has helped me improve my grades.” Adam also credits Group Leader Ms. Giovanna (Deleon) for providing him with support and guidance.
Trinity, 13, is in the eighth grade at Robert M. Finley Middle School.Trinity, an honor roll student who does very well in school, plans on becoming a Cardiothoracic Surgeon when she grows up.Trinity is very centered, hard-working and has her eyes set on Browne, Yale or Harvard as potential schools for her post high school education. She credits her father for being her greatest motivator and encouraging her to focus on education and to do well in school. For her, family comes first and the strong bond she has with her family is apparent in her attitude, determination and interaction with her peers and the Club.Trinity, who has been a member for four years, considers the Club her second home.“The Club is an extension of my family and it is a place where I can be myself, I can be free and be with my friends without being judged,” said Trinity. In addition to her dedication to school work and her commitment to the Club, Trinity enjoys singing and actively participates in the Club’s studio. She is also on the girls’ softball team at school.
