Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club and Nassau County Museum of Art Spreading the Joy This Holiday Season

Nassau County Museum of Art is spreading the joy of art to the Boys & Girls Club

In the spirit of the giving during this holiday season, Nassau County Museum of Art is spreading the joy of art to Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club families.

For every Family Membership purchased during the month of December, the Museum is kindly donating a matching membership to Club member families selected by the Boys & Girls Club. Membership includes free admission to all exhibitions, enriching programs for adults and families, discounts to the Museum store and invitation to opening receptions.

“The Museum has greatly enjoyed welcoming children from the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club for after-school and school-break programs. We are happy to now offer an opportunity for families to visit and share enriching exhibitions and educational programs throughout the year. We look forward to seeing the Club’s families at the Museum soon,” said Museum Director Dr. Karl E. Willers.

“We are truly grateful for the membership donation by the Museum that will undoubtedly deepen art appreciation for our kids and their families. The Arts is one of our main core program areas where we emphasize creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and understanding of the arts. This wonderful collaboration provides our kids with a unique opportunity to see the exhibitions and the incredible works by famous artists and painters which they would not otherwise be able to see,” said GCBGC Executive Director, Franca Trunzo.

The cost of a family membership is $85. The fee includes invitations to all members-only exhibition previews; personalized membership card for unlimited free admission to the museum galleries, gardens and Sculpture Park; subscription to Muse News, the museum member newsletter; 10 percent discount on all purchases at the Museum Store; 10 percent discount on exhibition catalogues; discount on select programs at the museum; Free Admission to Family Fun Sundays at the Museum; Admission for two adults and up to four children or grandchildren ages 16 or younger. All memberships are valid for one year from the date of enrollment.
