Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club New Teen Director
Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Ariana Soylemezoglu as Teen Program Director.

Ariana's journey with the Club began in 2019, when she joined as a student intern while completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Nutrition and Wellness from LI University. During her internship, she made significant contributions to the Club’s Cooking Up Energy program, which was designed to improve the health of members aged 6-18 by promoting increased physical activity, teaching essential nutrition practices, and fostering healthy relationships. Her exceptional leadership and dedication were evident as she guided kids through various healthy lifestyle initiatives, leading to her promotion to Health & Wellness Coordinator.
In 2021, Ariana left the Club to pursue a master’s in social work. Since then, she has accumulated valuable experience through private sessions with children, teens, and adults, helping them navigate their individual needs and challenges. Her extensive background in both nutrition and social work has equipped her with a unique and holistic perspective, allowing her to address the diverse needs of our teen members effectively.
Ariana expressed her excitement about returning to the Club, saying, “I am thrilled to be back and eager to create engaging and impactful programs that will support our teens on their journey toward a healthier and more fulfilling life. I look forward to collaborating with the team and making a positive difference in their lives.”
