Escorted by the Glen Cove fire and police departments, the parade began at the Eugene J. Gribbin Elementary School and traveled to the high school campus where students received their final yearbook and took photos with district administrators, including Superintendent Dr. Maria Rianna, GCHS Principal Antonio Santana and Assistant Principals Katie Prudente and Allen Hudson III. Glen Cove Mayor Tim Tenke, and City Council Members Gaitley Stevenson-Mathews and Marsha Silverman also joined the celebration.

Having adorned their vehicles with balloons, signs, painted windows and even one very large face mask, students displayed an array of emotions but mostly all smiles, shouts of joy and enthusiastic horn-honking.
