Glen Cove Cardinal Pee Wees Win First Game in the Playoffs

The following was written and submitted to the Glen Cove Patch by Ryan Ritter:

The Glen Cove Cardinals Pee Wees versed for the first week of playoffs against North Babylon White Bull Dogs on Sunday.

It was a very close game. After all 4 quarters were done, Glen Cove went for the touchdown but missed it by a yard with just seconds away from the clock, leaving both teams not scoring. This lead to a very intense overtime match. Whoever scored higher on the 15 line yard, would be the team to move on.

Glen Cove took the ball after North Babylon scored their first touchdown but missed their field kick, leaving their score at 6.

Glen Cove scored the touchdown on the fourth down and defeating with their hearts as a team North Babylon making that extra 2 pointer field kick. Glen Cove wins by 8-6.

Each team played an amazing defensive line leaving each side of families clenching on with excitement and suspense on who was going to move on in the playoffs

Glen Cove advances to the next playoff game against Wantagh.
