Glen Cove Drug Dealer Arrested, Cocaine Seized: Police

GLEN COVE, NY — Glen Cove police have arrested a resident and charged him with drug dealing offenses following a search of his property.

Detectives executed a search warrant Oct. 11 at a home near Sea Cliff Avenue and Park Manor Court, police said. Miquel Vazquez, a 32-year-old resident who was living at the property, was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Investigators said they seized more than 40 grams of cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia and cash. Vazquez remains jailed on $50,000 bail.

Glen Cove police said they're committed to keeping dangerous drugs off of the streets.
