Glen Cove High School Varsity Teams Teach Sportsmanship to Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club Members

Glen Cove High School's Varsity Girls Softball team and Varsity Girls Lacrosse team volunteered at Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club.

Glen Cove High School’s Varsity Girls Softball team and Varsity Girls Lacrosse team volunteered their time and efforts to share their outstanding sportsmanship skills with members of Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club.

The two teams, along with softball team coaches Kim Kessel and Angela Zupa and lacrosse team coaches Nicole Sileo and Sam Basil held separate sports clinics at the Club on Wednesday, April 28th. The sports clinics were a collaborative effort between the Club and the teams and were designed to teach Club members about the games as well as how to improve their skills and techniques on the playing field. Thanks to the combined efforts of the teams, the coaches and GCBGC Staff, the event was a wonderful learning experience for more than 40 Club members who participated in the clinics with great enthusiasm.
