Glen Cove Honors Class of 2016's Top 10 Students
The students were recognized at a recent School Board meeting.
The top 10 students from Glen Cove High School’s Class of 2016 were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements by school administrators and the Board of Education during a Board meeting at Landing Elementary School on Nov. 16.
Glen Cove High School Principal Antonio Santana described the students as “a great source of pride for the school and community.”
Superintendent of Schools Maria Rianna echoed Santana’s comments, adding that the group of students honored were great students and people.

- Valedictorian Maria Krisch
- Salutatorian Michelle Melfi
- Honorarian Justin Sobelman
- Alexandra Casale
- Catherine Hatala
- Victoria Tripp
- Grace Blinkoff
- Dani Dratch
- Tea Grzanov
- Duncan Yates
In addition to honoring the Class of 2016’s top students, the Board viewed mystery book report projects created by Landing School fifth-graders. Landing teacher Denise Reynolds was joined by students Colette Brunelle and William Romeo, who presented their projects.
