Glen Cove Students Celebrate Thanksgiving

Students enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal and a visit from their loved ones, when Landing School in Glen Cove held its annual Thanksgiving Feast.

The event, which gives family members an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal and desserts with their students, was held prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. In preparation of the celebration, students created placemats with artwork that represented what they were most thankful for to share with family members.

Parents and students in attendance feasted on turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings, while viewing a photomontage created by Teacher Assistant Michele Muzante, which included photos from student activities from earlier in the school year.

Food at the celebration was prepared by North Shore Farms and served thanks to faculty, staff and parent volunteers.
