Glen Cove Students Meet NYT Best-Selling Author (a Really Nice Guy)
The author read aloud one of his popular stories and spoke about what it takes to become an author and illustrator.

Gribbin School students had the opportunity to meet New York Times best-selling author John Sazaklis during the school’s Pick A Reading Partner program.
Sazaklis writes books about the amazing adventures of his favorite characters, and many of ours as well. Some of these titles include, “Batman, An Origin Story,” “Wonder Woman, An Origin Story” and “The Biggest Little Hero.”
During the assembly, students learned the process of becoming an author and illustrator and the importance of following their dreams. Sazaklis also read aloud one of his popular stories, focusing on the message of friendship, peace and using a person’s individual qualities for good in the world.
