Glen Cove Students Named Advanced Placement Scholars

The College Board has named 38 former and current Glen Cove High School students Advanced Placement Scholars for the 2014-15 school year, following their outstanding performance on the May 2015 AP exams.

One Student was named a National AP Scholar, eight were named an AP Scholar with Distinction, six were named an AP Scholar with Honor and 24 students were named an AP Scholar.

Superintendent of Schools Maria Rianna and the administration at Glen Cove High School congratulate the following students:

National AP Scholar— Students must receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.

AP Scholar with Distinction— Students must receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
