Glen Cove Youth Bureau Gets $20K Donation for Science Education

This is the third year in a row the Long Island Community Foundation has donated to the program.

The Glen Cove Youth Bureau After 3 program was the recent recipient of a $20,000 donation, courtesy of the Long Island Community Foundation.

The funding will allow students in grades K-8 to enhance their skills in science through the bureau’s partnership with the Cradle of Aviation. This is the third year in a row the foundation has donated to the Youth Bureau.

“The Long Island Community Foundation fulfills a vital need in our community and we appreciate the organization’s consistent support of our After 3 program,” Glen Cove Mayor Reggie Spinello said in a press release.
