Glen Cove's Select Chorale Honored at City Council Meeting
The group also sang for the City Hall audience Tuesday.
To say the City of Glen Cove is proud of Glen Cove High School’s Select Chorale is an understatement.
The group, which recently returned from performing at the Vatican during a mass led by Pope Francis, was awarded a special citation.
And yes, they also performed. The Select Chorale sang two songs for the City Hall audience.

The Chorale was recognized by Mayor Reggie Spinello, the City Council and Glen Cove School Superintendent Maria Rianna at the Glen Cove City Council meeting on Tuesday.
“You made your school and City proud,” Spinello said to the Choral members, according to a press release. He also said they “sing like angels.”
