Glenwood Landing Man Charged In Hit-And-Run That Injured 2: NCPD
Two men suffered head injuries after the man hit them with his car and drove off, police said.

ROSLYN HARBOR, NY — The man who injured two people in a hit-and-run in Glenwood Landing was arrested Wednesday in Roslyn Harbor, Nassau County Homicide Squad detectives said.
Amir Dashti, 27, of Glenwood Landing, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro eastbound when he hit two men standing in front of 150 Scudders Lane, Glenwood Landing on Tuesday at 10:35 p.m. and then drove away, police said. Both men, age 27, suffered head injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
The car was found at a home on Glenwood Road in Roslyn Harbor, police said. Dashti was arrested at 8:15 a.m. without further incident, police said.

He was charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an accident with serious personal injury. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, 99 Main St., Hempstead.
