GMA Karate and Kickboxing Raise Money for Casey's Recovery Fund

GMA Martial Arts and iLoveKickboxing – Glen Cove each held Kick-a-Thons to raise funds for Casey Ellin's recovery from spinal cord injury

Glen Cove, New York, November 21, 2014 – On June 1, 2013 Casey Ellin was in a life-changing accident that left him paralyzed and in a wheel chair. His sister, Bridget Ellin, a member of iLoveKickboxing in Glen Cove has been advocating on his behalf and helping to raise funds for his recovery since that tragic day. On October 25, 2014, the kickboxing studio hosted “Kicks for Casey,” a fundraising event where members made a donation to take part in a special kickboxing class to raise awareness for Spinal Cord Injury. On November 12th and 13th, the young students at GMA Martial Arts participated in their version of “Kicks for Casey,” raising additional funds for Casey’s recovery via a kick-a-thon.
