Helping the local Homeless Shelter
The Kiwanis club of Glen Cove offers it’s assistance during the winter months by helping feed the homeless at the shelter located at the Presbyterian Church.
We do this 2-3 times a season. We recruit friends who also bring nutritious home cooked meals as well as donations from local restaurants that want to contribute to this cause.

These men who utilize the shelter are extremely appreciative and thankful for the kindness of our local church’s, synagogue’s and other local support groups who keep these men fed and receive medical attention during these rough winter nights.
